The Forza 300 LED from NanLite is a compact and portable studio lighting with a remarkably high brightness for its size. It weighs only 2.3 kg and can easily be packed into most equipment bags.
With the included reflector, the Forza 300 emits an impressive bright light of 43,060 lux at a distance of 1 meter. When equipped with an optional fresnel lens, the brightness increases to a total of 108,679 lux by 1 meter. An adjustable brightness from 100% down to 1% allows you to quickly adapt the Forza 300 to your scene without having to use ND filters or using soft boxes or other material to soften the light.
Perfect rendering of colors
The brightness of the lighting is important, but it must also have the right color rendering, otherwise you end up spending too much time and money in the post-editing phase. The Forza 300 has a CRI value of 98 and a TLCI of 95, which means you can count on your recordings getting natural colors.
Bowen's equipment assembly
By using Bowen's equipment mounting, the Forza 300 is compatible with a wide range of light bulbs from a number of manufacturers, e.g. soft boxes, umbrellas, snoot and grid.
Power supply or battery
The Forza 300 is designed to be used in both studio and on location. The lighting can be operated via either the supplied power supply or two. 26V V-Mount batteries (not included). That way you can work wherever you want, regardless of whether there is a power outlet or not.
Satellite control and power plant
To ensure a low center of gravity and easily accessible controls, the control panel, power supply and battery holder are assembled in a satellite unit that can easily be hung on the light stand. It also has a DMX connection point, which means the Forza 300 can be included as part of a complete DMX controlled lighting.
Practical effects
Pre-programmed special effects make it easy to emulate different types of light scenarios that can otherwise be difficult to recreate. At the touch of a button, you can simulate a thunderbolt, a flickering TV screen, a camera flash, or an incandescent light bulb.
Ready for the study
Thanks to a 5/8-inch screw thread, the Forza 300 can be mounted directly on all standard light racks. The luminaire can be rotated 330 degrees up / down, making it easy to find a suitable angle or hanging the lighting in the ceiling for study use. The silent fan makes it possible to use the Forza 300 even in critical situations.
